Finding the right shows to knit to is a very important task when knitting, because THIS:
Checking patterns sucks. This is why I have a bad habit of making super easy projects that require very little looking down at the pattern except for the first and last few stitches. I cannot tell you how often I've gotten distracted by watching TV and I just purl right through my knit stitches, or vice versa. It is kind of an issue.
For those times when I do need to check my pattern, I either suck it up and watch whatever crappy infomercial is on, or I find some exciting reality show that has virtually no plot. Example: "Dance Moms." Second example, "Double Divas."
But the best show to knit to is "Gossip Girl." Don't judge me that I've seen every episode already and am maybe quite possibly definitely watching them all a second time through. I know what the plot is. I know where Little J ends up and who Gossip Girl really is and at what point Lily and Rufus getbacktogetherbreakupbutthengetbacktogetherohgodicantkeeptrack. I can handle a lace-ish pattern this time through because I know what happens!
Don't judge me. It's a good idea. You'll see.
