My next plan won't get cast on until the new year, but I am so excited about it. It's going to be a beautiful sweater knit with a limited edition colorway of yarn from Expression Fiber Arts (hey, if you feel the need to get me or your other favorite knitter a Christmas present ... Chandi's yarn is delectable). This sparkly sport weight yarn in the "Paradise" colorway is 3-ply silk and one ply of spaaaaaahkle baby! Ugh. I love it. I've held onto it for more than a year, waiting on the perfect pattern design to creep into my brain.
I haven't fully sketched the idea out yet, but it will be a longer, tunic-style sweater. I'd love to add bell sleeves with some lace detailing at the wrists, so anticipate a future post about me frustratingly figuring that out!
